Because of an instantaneous healing...

Because of an instantaneous healing of my mother, Christian Science has been our only physician since 1905. At that time my mother was given but a very short time to live. The owner of our building spoke to her of this wonderful healing truth, and he advised her to go to see a Christian Science practitioner. She replied that she did not see how she could go, because she could not lift her head from the pillow. He replied, "You will." She was up and about very early the next morning in time to make her visit. In a short time she was completely healed. The practitioner quoted from the Bible where Jesus tells us (Matt. 11:28), "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

My brothers and I were entered in the Christian Science Sunday School and attended regularly. We were protected from all the so-called children's diseases and had healings of food poisoning, earaches, toothache, effects of dog-bites, and many other difficulties. My father was healed of a stroke in three days after help had been given him by a practitioner. The practitioner told him that there is only one God and that man is His perfect reflection.

When our daughter broke her leg, my husband insisted that it be put in a cast. However, help in Christian Science was given her. After only a short time the child asked to have the cast removed. This was done, and we found that the leg was healed. She has since entered into sports and has been completely free.
