When our son was born, the doctor stated that two vertebrae were imperfectly formed and he felt that it was necessary to remove the child to the children's hospital for an operation. Although I knew very little of Christian Science at that time, still I was able to realize that God is Love and would not forsake me. Sustained by this thought, I was quite calm when, despite the vehement protests of the head physician, we took our infant son from the hospital where he had been born. He warned me that I would have to take full responsibility for the child from then on.

We immediately asked for Christian Science treatment, which was willingly given us. During the first two weeks there was no change, but at the end of six weeks the healing was complete. The boy is now over thirteen years old and perfectly healthy. He has had no trouble in school with his studies and is considered a good student. We cannot be grateful enough for Christian Science, which is proving a great support to us daily.
