Christian Science has meant everything to me for the past thirtyfour years. It has never failed when the divine rules, as given to us by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, have been faithfully applied.

I have been healed of a tendency to take cold, periodic sick headaches, chilblains, and warts. I was healed in two days of a severe case of scarlet fever with none of the aftereffects which it is claimed follow this disease. At the same time our two daughters were beautifully protected. They were also protected from most of the so-called childhood diseases, and when measles and mumps presented themselves, the conditions were quickly healed. An abscess in my ear broke and drained in a few hours.

While living in the Orient I had an instantaneous healing of ptomaine poisoning. A trust in God as ever present has overcome fear and a sense of lack. On page 269 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy says, "Metaphysics resolves things into thoughts, and exchanges the objects of sense for the ideas of Soul." Through my holding to this truth, lost articles have been recovered in a way that seemed almost miraculous. Many faults of disposition have been overcome, especially a quick temper and a tendency to criticize. I am grateful for a clearer vision of God's allness and nearness and for a purer sense of love, gained through my study of Christian Science.
