My attention has been called to a syndicated column, entitled "The Worry Clinic," in a recent issue of your paper that contains some statements which I believe may give your readers an erroneous impression regarding persons who depend upon prayer for healing in case of illness.

The writer of the column, a doctor, said. "It has always impressed me as a sign of laziness or ignorance when people want God to look after them one hundred per cent." He implies also that immunization is a sure preventative for smallpox, diphtheria, and whooping cough.
