For almost twenty years I have known of the wonderful teaching of Christian Science. During all these years I have had numerous healings, blessings, and experiences which have enabled me to understand clearly how applicable this gift of God is to all affairs of daily life and business, to sickness and other problems, and for this I am profoundly grateful. I wish to relate a healing which enabled me to see in a most convincing way that God is our only help and physician.

For years I had suffered from a disease called psoriasis. In my endeavor to find healing, before I learned of Christian Science, I had consulted numerous physicians, among them some well-known specialists. They were all of the opinion that I might find temporary relief from this complaint, but that a permanent healing could not be brought about because the cause of the disease was still unknown. The course the treatment took was in accordance with this opinion. After a period of apparent improvement further symptoms appeared and in the course of years took on aggravated forms.

When I learned of Christian Science through a friend and had attended a few Sunday services and Wednesday evening testimony meetings, I was firmly convinced that my healing could be brought about only through Christian Science. I asked a practitioner for help, which was at once lovingly given. In addition I took up my own spiritual work through the earnest study of the Bible, the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and other Christian Science literature.
