Church Dedications
Note: Christian Science churches are dedicated only when free from debt.
Godalming, Surrey, England (First Church).
After delays resulting from the war. First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Ockford Road, Godalming, has been completed, free of debt.
Two largely attended dedicatory services were held at the church on Sunday, November 20, 1949. At both services a dedication address was given by the First Reader, who stated: "We are here, not only to dedicate our church to the service of God and humanity, but to consecrate ourselves to the fulfillment of the purpose of Church.
