MY WORK

Ethel Louise Bennett

I do not work for persons
In a building of iron and stone;
My service is not measured
In the number of things I own.

I work for God—for Life and Love;
In Truth is my protection.
Soul, Spirit, Principle, and Mind
Employ me as reflection.
