It is a privilege indeed to testify to the healing power of Christian Science as presented in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I believed myself to be very impetuous and ran to do so many things. This resulted in repeated falls and injuries, but after studying and earnestly endeavoring to apply the rules of Christian Science, I became more poised and calm and turned with all my heart to God for healing.

A broken foot, a broken arm, and finally a broken back tried my faith. But they were all beautifully healed without resort to medical remedies through my obeying the rules set forth in our textbook and with the work of a consecrated practitioner. In the case where I fell heavily and broke my back, mortal mind suggested to me to give up and pass on, because to the senses I was old and could not expect to recover completely. But all those arguments were stilled, and I walk again, firmly and often.

I am learning to be more patient and forgiving as I study this blessed Science. To grow in grace, to help others, and to spread cheer as I journey on are my main desires.—(Mrs.) Martha J. Louthan, Los Angeles, California.
