When I realize that I have been...
When I realize that I have been interested in Christian Science for many years and have not expressed my gratitude through a testimony in one of the periodicals, I cannot help recalling the ten lepers who were cleansed, only one of whom returned to give God thanks. I do not wish to he numbered with the ungrateful nine, and it is with humble gratitude to God that I write of the main blessings which have been mine in the study and practice of Christian Science.
As a small boy I was painfully injured when I fell on the steps to our home, and my protruding teeth caused me to bite completely through my lower lip. A physician was called in and put court plaster on the wound. This was but a temporary measure, as he said he would have to take at least two stitches in it. The court plaster was barely on when I ripped it off. My father, who had recently been healed in Science of a severe hemorrhoidal condition, upheld my stand; and within a very short time I was healed, with barely a scar.
