In the present dark uncertainty as to which forces ma prove ultimately triumphant and what destiny lies in store for us, if Christ really rose from the dead, that stupendous fact must have towering significance for us. It can but mean the conquering and victorious power of goodness, if men but put it into play in the world. Thus goodness by its own inherent nature is a cohesive force which attracts strength and ultimately wins.

Goodness will ultimately triumph, and not all the forces of hell can prevent it. That is the real significance of Master. That is the well-spring of Master joy.
