Signs of the Times

Rev. Edwin S. Carson in an address reported in the Herald-News Ridgewood, New Jersey

[The Reverend] Mr. Carson affirmed that growth, development, is what really makes life worth living. "We should ask ourselves the question, 'How much have I grown or improved since a year ago?' God help us when we stop growing. ...

" 'And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man.' ... We need today the idea expressed by the Apostle Paul in Ephesians (4:32), 'And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.' Therein we may find the proper measurement of life."
