About two years ago it was necessary for me to have an eyetooth removed, and during the extraction I became unconscious. My wife, who is a student of Christian Science, was with me and called a practitioner. Help was immediately received. As I became conscious these words from Luke (10:19) rang distinctly through my thought, "Nothing shall by any means hurt you," as well as the following sentence from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 192): "In Science, you can have no power opposed to God, and the physical senses must give up their false testimony." Later extractions were accomplished without any difficulty.

Some years ago I was healed of ptomaine poisoning. At another time a growth appeared on my lip. At first little attention was paid to it. However, one morning the condition became alarming, and therefore earnest work was taken up in Christian Science, with the result that within two days the error entirely disappeared.

For membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for class instruction, and for the many blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science, I am profoundly grateful.—FRED D. HUNN, St. Louis, Missouri.
