In a recent issue of your good daily there appeared a news item covering a case of prosecution under the Hospital Insurance Act brought before the magistrate in Murrayville. The defendant is reported to have charged that the provincial government had shown favoritism in granting Christian Scientists exemption from the provisions of the Hospital Insurance Act of 1948.

I should like to point out that it savors of injustice to charge our government with favoritism in this case. The provincial legislature, as well as a number of other enlightened governments, has recognized the inherent right of freedom to worship God in accordance with the dictates of conscience.
