It makes me very happy to submit a testimony of my gratitude to God because I was healed in Christian Science after an extended and fruitless period of medical treatment. I was a medical nurse, and the time came when I was unable to work. I walked with the help of crutches and was about to undergo a third operation. The doctors, however, could give me no assurance that it would be successful. At this time an acquaintance of mine recommended Christian Science, and I asked a practitioner for help. She talked to me about God's ever-present help, and I saw clearly that God alone could help me.

I was instantly filled with renewed joy and hope. Relying wholly on Christian Science, I was privileged to experience God's direction. I soon made progress and was able to lay aside my crutches. As I gave up medical theories my healing took place, and I gained a new outlook and have been greatly benefited in many ways. My work as a medical nurse was abandoned, and I learned another occupation.
