With a heart full of gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I submit this long-delayed testimony.

It was over twenty years ago that I turned to Christian Science for help. I had been informed by a surgeon that I must undergo an immediate major operation. Being very fearful, I decided first to try Christian Science. The practitioner gently guided my thoughts into new channels, and as the truth was unfolded, the Holy Bible, with its spiritual interpretation in our textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, opened a new world for me. As a child I was taught to fear God, and the droning of Bible chapters twice a day meant nothing to me, for I did not understand any of it.

As the Christian Science treatments progressed, I realized that I belonged wholly to God, our beloved Father-Mother. In a short time I was completely healed. It seemed like a miracle to me.
