THE DIVINE IMPRESS

With the advent of Christian Science has come a greater knowledge of the power of right thought than men have before understood. Through this Science the unconscious influence of aggregate mortal belief is being broken by the demonstration of God as the only Mind and of man as Mind's perfect idea.

The thoughts which emanate from divine Mind are as omnipresent as their Maker—are not confined to space or limits of any kind. One who demonstrates some measure of his true identity by understanding divine Science leaves the impress of Science upon universal humanity. Mary Baker Eddy says in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 559), "The 'still, small voice' of scientific thought reaches over continent and ocean to the globe's remotest bound."

The fact of the omnipresent nature of scientific thought makes one aware that his own contribution to the liberation of the race from evil influences may be mighty. Every expression of good, separate from matter, is evidence of Mind's presence and ability to declare its own creation. Was not Christ Jesus expounding the power of thought and the universal impress of released divine energy when he said (Matt. 18:18), "Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven"? Demonstrations of Christian Science— proofs of man's perpetually sinless state—release universal powers of reality, and humanity, loosed from earthliness in some degree, is uplifted by divinity.
