"BE THOU OUR SAINT"
For their selfless labors in behalf of humanity many notable men and women have been called saints. Yet the world is generally slow to understand and appreciate the zeal of those who devote their lives to the good of humanity.
One may ask, "Has the Christian Scientist a saint?" The answer is to be found in the well-loved hymn entitled "Christmas Morn," the words of which were written by our revered Leader (Poems, p. 29). The last two stanzas show with perfect clarity the true meaning of the word "saint," for they direct thought away from person to divine Principle, or God, and to the healing Christ:
