I feel the time is long overdue for me to give grateful testimony for the many blessings which I have received through the study of Christian Science.

In 1918, I was healed instantly of influenza when a colleague who was a Christian Scientist said it was too bad to be true and talked to me about the wonderful teaching of this Science. These words from John (8:32) were quoted: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

Soon after this I attended a Christian Science testimony meeting one Wednesday and the following day the Thanksgiving service, and these two services, given so freely, brought to my consciousness the words from Isaiah (55:1), "Ho, every one that thirsteth, ... come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."
