Broadening Our Bounds
[From the Field]
Our new, air-conditioned, ground-floor Reading Room is serving its purpose well. A great many pedestrians pause at the display window to read, and the librarian has had more than a few strangers come in to ask questions about Christian Science. Some have borrowed the textbook from the lending library. Our members have a more lively interest in Reading Room activities and are pleased to have the relocation and additional furnishings which were required in the new rooms paid for in full.
In March, 1949, a committee of four was appointed to work out a plan for keeping our Christian Science Reading Room open in the evenings.
