THE PRACTITIONER
He
turns to Mind throughout the day,
Not once nor twice but every hour,
To guide him in the narrow way,
As God-endued to speak with power
The Word of Truth and Love, to heal
Or raise from sin the living dead,
While in humility to kneel
Before the word, "Take up thy bed."
In answered prayer his feet are shod,
Through God's own glory, glorified.
As His blest son, the son of God,
He serves the world—the world denied.
Arthur Percy Bubb
