With deep gratitude I give this testimony regarding the numerous blessings that I owe to Christian Science.

When this Science was presented to me, several years ago, I was in great despair. My husband had just passed on; my daughter was very ill with a lung lesion, and her little boy was away from home, very ill with boils and intestinal fever. I myself had suffered for a long time from the aftereffects of an operation and was about to undergo another. The doctor and surgeon who had examined me stated that healing was impossible without an operation, and that if this operation was to be of use it must take place within three weeks. Nevertheless, I refused to have the operation and clung firmly to the truth which we are taught in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and asked help of a practitioner. Little by little I began to regain my strength, for I had fallen into a state of great weakness. At the same time the tumor disappeared, f was healed of liver trouble and internal varicose veins.

I can say with deep gratitude that Christian Science has brought me the light of Truth, and my life has been renewed. Through its teachings I have come to know the true God, who is omnipotent Love. Now I am a well woman, f can do the heaviest kind of work without fatigue. My body has become supple, whereas before: I could scarcely move.
