LIKE JOSHUA
May
we, like Joshua, of good courage be:
Conquering error, with cleared vision, see
That Jordan's Hood lifts up on either hand.
Making a path into the promised land.
This be our watchword: "With good courage go;"
Like Joshua before the walls of Jericho.
So by Truth's trumpet blasts of victory
See evil fall, and shout triumphantly.
Through growth, with fuller understanding, see
That nought is gained but by humility.
Before the captain of the Lord's host bow.
Rise up, obey Truth's voice, and know.
As Joshua, the way to serve. So stand.
For now we dwell within Love's promised land.
