Healing, a Natural Element of Christianity
E. Gilmour Smith in an article in The United Church Observer
Christians ought to be the healthiest of people. Those who have a strong faith in God's love and care, an assurance of sins forgiven and iniquity pardoned, and confidence in Gods abiding and upholding presence, should live with a buoyancy of spirit and calmness of soul which will read upon the well-being of the whole physical nature.
Jesus was zealous in healing not only the souls but the bodies of people. He attacked disease wherever he found it.
