LISTENING TO LEARN THE WAY
I am
listening
When all sense of self is put away,
When fear has fled and error's night
Has been replaced by Love's revealing day,
When with calm trust I know
That God owns every hour,
When I can wait, assured
The Father with His love and power
Maps and marks the willing traveler's way—
A way harmonious, bright, wherein each step is shown,
Because the traveler makes true listening his own.
