I could never express in words my gratitude to God for the countless blessings which have come to me through Christian Science.

A loved sister had suffered for many months from malaria. She had gone to one physician after another and had tried every remedy recommended, without improvement. Through a series of rather unusual circumstances, she became a member of a household in which there was a Christian Science practitioner. In time she was led to have treatment from this practitioner and was completely healed. She then became an earnest student of Christian Science.

At her first opportunity my sister told me of her healing, thinking that I would rejoice with her. However, I was so filled with ignorant prejudice towards Christian Science that I refused to believe it had healed her. I concluded that the healing must have been done through the use of human will power. I then determined to heal myself of a long-standing minor ill by the same means. Realizing no benefit at all from this method, I was forced to see that my conclusion in regard to my sister's healing was incorrect.
