Harmon-on-Hudson, New York (First Church).

First Church of Christ, Scientist, Harmon-on-Hudson, dedicated its church building on Sunday, June 27, 1948, at services held in the morning and repeated in the afternoon and evening.

Interest in Christian Science in this community began twenty-five years ago when a number of local residents commenced the study of Christian Science. Before erecting the church in Harmon on Young Avenue in 1926, they attended church services in Ossining.

In April, 1928, the cornerstone of the present church building was laid, and the activities of the church were moved to the new building in the summer of 1928.

The local Christian Science church is a branch of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.—Citizen-Register.
