For many years Christian Science has been my only physician and help in time of need, bringing healing, protection, guidance, and joy whenever correctly and sincerely applied. It is with a desire to acknowledge this fact and to express my deep gratitude that I offer this testimony.

I did not take up the study of Christian Science because of any particular need of physical healing, but rather because it supplied a deep spiritual need. However, through the study and application of its teachings as set forth in our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I have enjoyed good health continuously. During these years members of our family have had many healings of physical inharmonies. Various children's diseases, neuritis, acute appendicitis, chronic constipation, influenza, blood poisoning, and a severe nervous breakdown are some of the physical difficulties which have been overcome. Unlovely traits are yielding to the realization that universal love is the only way to find peace and harmony.

My gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her untiring efforts to bless and benefit mankind is beyond words. The Bible, which I scarcely opened before I began to study it in conjunction with our textbook, has revealed to me paths of spiritual enlightenment. The realization that in God's love there can be no loss or separation has lifted the burden of grief when loved ones have passed on.
