Over half the state legislators accepted our offer of a complimentary subscription to The Christian Science Monitor for the duration of the session. In order to show their appreciation, at the close of the session a resolution was introduced and unanimously adopted, thanking the Monitor and another daily paper "for their courtesy in furnishing copies of their papers to the Members of the Assembly."
