TRUTH IN ACTION

"If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free" (John 8:31, 32). No human utterance has ever equaled this concise direction given by Christ Jesus of the way each one must take to bring to light within himself the kingdom of divine reality. Today men continue to ask, "Where is Truth?" and Jesus' reply still stands after nineteen centuries, "Continue in my word, ... and ye shall know the truth."

To find the exact meaning of this saying of Jesus', one must discern its spiritual sense. Here is where Christian Science comes to the rescue of mankind.

The fundamental truths concerning the Divine Being, life, the universe, man, body, law, power, substance, and so on are fully set forth in the textbook by Mary Baker Eddy, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." It is the understanding of these truths which enables Christian Scientists to free themselves from any ills which they may seem to incur. They are convinced, from their Leader's example, that Christian Science is a divine revelation and that the ideas or truths which she teaches can be demonstrated.
