INVITATIONS—GETTING AND GIVING
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Janet loved parties, Perhaps it was because she lived in an out-of-the-way place and had no brothers or sisters.
One day her mother said to her, "Do you know what really makes a party such fun?" When Janet hesitated, her mother continued, "You can find the answer in 'Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.'"
Janet brought this wonderful book by Mary Baker Eddy and turned to page 57 as her mother told her to do. Beginning at line 18, she read: "Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love, It is unselfish; therefore it cannot exist alone, but requires all mankind to share it."
