I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science and its beautiful healing power. At different times I had gone to the Sunday church services with my husband. I never resented Science, but neither did I accept it.

About two years ago after each meal my stomach and back hurt so terribly that I could neither sit, lie down, nor stand in comfort. After a week of this discordant condition I consulted a physician. His diagnosis of the case was stomach ulcers. I was given medicine immediately and was put on a strict diet. In spite of following the physician's treatment, I grew worse for several days and could not eat.

I was then doing some part-time work. On one of my working days I awoke too sick to be on my feet for any length of time. I was led to call a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. I went to work two hours after I talked to the practitioner. Two days later I was eating anything I desired with no discomfort, much to the surprise of relatives and friends. At the same time I was also healed of wearing glasses, which I had worn since my first year in school. Because of the quick healing I had experienced, my mother and a cousin took up the study of Christian Science and now regularly attend the Sunday and Wednesday services.
