ASCENSION
Psalms 24:3, 4
Who
shall soar in upward flight
From sense to Soul sublime?
And wing his way
From yesterday,
Mortality, and time?
Borne on by cleansing winds that blow
From everlasting Mind,
Who first shall see
Eternity?
Who shall perfection find?
He whose thoughts are pure and free
From error's subtle plea
Shall reach his goal,
The reign of Soul,
Life's immortality.
Then, as a dreamer he shall wake
When dawns Truth's morning light,
And he shall see
Reality
From out that heavenly height.
