PEACE OF MIND

Who does not long for peace of mind? The world searches for it in every direction, but neither the highways nor byways of material sense can find it. The Bible gives the recipe. With simple directness it states (Isa. 26:3), "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."

True peace is inherent in the fact that man is one with God, inseparable from Life, Truth, and Love —one with his divine source, substance, and strength. Because God is Mind, man exists in Mind alone, expressing and evidencing the beauty and the resourcefulness of illimitable Mind. Mind, or Soul, is pure spiritual consciousness, the very source and essence of tranquillity, joy, harmony, luminous purity, and steadfast peace.

In the reality and substance of God's allness there is no variableness, lapse, or decline. That which exists can never cease to exist, for Mind conceives of nothing less than its own eternality, perfection, and continuity. Mind constitutes all individuality; it embraces all identity. Both certainty and safety are ever present in Mind.
