WHY TAKE COLD?
We do not have to accept as real anything which does not come from God, the creator of all that is real and good. This applies to cold and catarrh, which are mistakenly accepted by mankind as common ailments against which there is little protection.
A number of years ago a young man who had just begun the study of Christian Science went to a practitioner for the healing of a bad cold. The patient had for years been subject to colds. He had tried all sorts of remedies—doctors and medicine, diets and chiropractic—but to no avail. Now, Christian Science was coming to his rescue.
After listening patiently to an account of his troubles, the practitioner asked, "Do you really consider yourself an honest man?"
