I am very happy to be able to testify positively as to the activity of God's law in my recent military experiences.

For several years before I left to serve with a battalion in the line, I was a student of Christian Science and attended the Sunday School. There I gained an understanding of God and man and their relationship to one another. This understanding I found uplifted my whole outlook on life so that what others thought difficult I tackled joyously and was normally successful.

When I finally came under active combat conditions I found myself cool and clearheaded, whereas others with me were bewildered. My attitude I attribute to lessons learned in Sunday School, namely, that God is verily our Father-Mother, Love; that, in the words of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy (Science and Health, p. 275): "Divine metaphysics, as revealed to spiritual understanding, shows clearly that all is Mind, and that Mind is God, omnipotence, omnipresence, omniscience,—that is, all power, all presence, all Science. Hence all is in reality the manifestation of Mind."
