An Assistant Committee in one of the larger ports here was consulted by a woman with regard to Christian Science treatment, for she was receiving no benefit whatever from materia medica. This woman then consulted her physician, one of the leading medical doctors of the town, as to whether Christian Science treatment would benefit her if she tried it, and was rather surprised to receive the following answer: "I do not know anything of their treatment, but I do know that hopeless cases, after having Christian Science treatment, have returned to me perfectly well."
