It is with meekness and sincerity...

It is with meekness and sincerity that I express my gratitude for all the good and love that has come to me through the teachings of Christian Science.

Though I have been studying this wonderful Science for barely seven years, it seems like eternity. Mrs. Eddy's words on page 468 of her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," are indeed true: "Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity." By constant and persistent awareness of the ever-presence of good I have witnessed the dissolution of much error and consequently a great renewal of my being.

Days that before were dismal, dark, and meaningless are now bright and full of activity and joy. Although at times it has seemed useless to go on, the words of a hymn (Hymnal, No. 412), "O captive, rise and sing, for thou art free," have helped me on to eventual triumph. Gradually the light of spiritual understanding has grown brighter, and in proportion I have experienced greater freedom.
