Having derived much encouragement from the testimonies published in the Christian Science periodicals, I should like to take this means of sharing some of my own blessings.

I came into Science for the healing of a nervous breakdown, brought on by selfishness and worry over the breaking up of my home. When it was feared I might have to go to a mental institution, I requested instead that I be taken to the home of an aunt who is a Christian Scientist. There, also at my request, a practitioner was called to help me. I shall never forget the love and patience shown to me at that time. I recall my aunt recommended that I study the Lesson-Sermon from the Christian Science Quarterly, but I told her that it would do me no good, for I could not remember what I had read. Once she mentioned a Bible verse from Isaiah. The next day I asked her, "Was that Isaiah 41:10 you told me to read?" That was proof to me that I had not lost my memory. It was through tears of joy that I read the words, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee;" and I began to glimpse the truth stated on page 548 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy: "In this Science, we discover man in the image and likeness of God. We see that man has never lost his spiritual estate and his eternal harmony."

This healing took place ten years ago, and since that time I have led a happier and more useful life than I had ever believed would be possible for me.
