THE STREAMS OF LOVE

Christian Science is the revelation of the great, eternal, and unchanging facts of true being, or divine reality. It is the truth about all that is actual, veritable, and divinely right. It unfolds to us countless ideas, all of which are based upon the one foundational fact—the oneness, allness, and supremacy of God. It declares and demonstrates that God is infinite Love, the one and only ever-present Mind, or creator of the universe. Because God is infinite Love, the basis and origin of all that really exists, His creation is a Love-like, or lovely, creation. His law is a law of Love, and regardless of what may appear to be true to the lying physical senses, all that is really going on anywhere is the activity, expression, or manifestation of this boundless Love.

The mission of Christ Jesus was to prove the power of Love and the ever-availability of that power to heal, transform, uplift, and bless. He proved that the potency of Love was so irresistible that there was no discordant or unlovely condition, whether it seemed to be disease, lack, sin, deformity, or death, that could withstand it. He proved that man as the image and likeness of God, Love, is fully endowed with Love's bestowals—perfect health, abiding harmony, sinlessness, completeness, abundant life. He was so fully cognizant of that which is immortal and divine that he quickly proved mortal discord to be unreal and powerless.

The mission of Christian Science is to interpret and demonstrate the law of Love, thereby enriching the lives of men with all that is great, good, and true. The more firmly we lay hold upon this Love, the more grandly we live, the richer and more expansive our experience becomes.
