The teachings of Christian Science, showing the allness of God, divine Mind, have completely changed my life and proved to me what man is in reality. With much joy and gratitude I desire to tell how this was accomplished.

For over two years I had been suffering from what was considered a poisoned system, causing a serious heart condition. During this period specialists faithfully endeavored to enable me to retain food, but I grew steadily worse until finally I was confined to bed. However, I clung always to the thought that it was not God's will for me to die. I owned and operated a business at that time, and the thought of my three children's future gave me a great desire to live.

A dear friend who was a Christian Scientist, learning of my suffering, came to see me and convinced me that I too could be healed by Christian Science. I then and there decided to give up medicine and turn to God. I obtained the name of a practitioner and the following day I was taken to his office, where he lovingly listened to all I related.
