Concerning Christian Science Wartime and Postwar Activities
[From a Christian Scientist in Netherlands East Indies]
As I recently received another two packages from your Committee, I wish to express my gratitude and joy for your sending my wife and me such packages, since we are still living here under very difficult circumstances.
In 1946, just before I began my activity as Second Reader of our small society, I received a package containing a nice suit of clothes from your committee in Holland, just in time so that it could be used each Sunday in my work at the desk. We had nothing, you know, so I felt this was a demonstration of God's love in helping me with my work for our Cause.
