Love's Blessing

"Speak, Master, that my brother may divideHis bountiful inheritance with me."These words ask not for Love's security,And Jesus, hearing such request, appliedA stern rebuke to greed, putting asideAbundant things as Life's reality,Then showing just how simple it can beTo seek God first and find all needs supplied.Good comes from Spirit, not from mortal man,The holy Word affirms. It lies withinEach heart to know this truth and so expressThe goodness, universal in His plan,That heals all lack with Love, for lack is sin.To have what blesses, simply means to bless.
