Looking back, I realize the many blessings and healings I have received. I wish to tell of some of them in the hope that someone may be benefited.

I knew nothing about Christian Science until it healed me after doctors had given me up, saying that I would not live until morning. Gratitude does not half express what I felt to be able to bring up my children, for they were young at the time. A Christian Science Sentinel was given to me to read, and then I wanted Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. I read it day and night for several days. While I was reading I was able permanently to remove the glasses which I always wore, for the oculist had said my eyes were not fully developed because I had had typhoid fever when I was young.

My children attended the Christian Science Sunday School. They had many healings, including those of scarlet fever, measles, whooping cough, and smallpox.
