A healing of neuritis was my first experience in Christian Science. I had been suffering from severe pain for several years, and had tried to obtain relief through materia medica. I was suffering a great deal when I told my sister of my illness. She had been instantaneously healed of tuberculosis a few months before by Christian Science, and she began to read to me from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. She read to me for several hours, and after a while the pain left. That was seventeen years ago, and it has never returned.

I was healed of influenza during the Christian Science church service one Sunday morning. A deeply lacerated finger was also healed without even a scar being left. When the accident occurred I called to my mother, who had some understanding of Science, to help me, and I continued with my activities without pain or inconvenience. Words cannot express my gratitude for these healings and many others.
