SNOWFLAKES AND GRATITUDE
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Jim was in the third grade at school. One morning his teacher told the class that they were going to fold white paper and cut snowflake designs. Jim thought cutting designs was fun. He started to work eagerly with the rest of the class.
After he had cut his design, he unfolded the paper. It fell to pieces. He had done something wrong.
Then he took another drawing sheet and started over again. He tried to plan his work so that the design would be whole and to cut carefully. But when he unfolded the second paper, the design again fell to pieces. He tried once more, and the same thing happened.
