CREATION NOW

"There is but one creator and one creation. This creation consists of the unfolding of spiritual ideas and their identities, which are embraced in the infinite Mind and forever reflected." These convincing words by Mary Baker Eddy appear on pages 502 and 503 of her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." What freedom even a glimpse of the vastness of this truth brings to mankind; what joy comes with the recognition that the only creation is now, and that God is the only creator!

A student of Christian Science had struggled long to be free from physical bondage. One day, while she was earnestly pursuing her study of this Science, the above quotation attracted her attention. Her thought was illumined and she, like John, "saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away" (Rev. 21:1).

The revealing truth dawned in her consciousness that the physical condition which seemed to be causing her so much difficulty was not man, but a mistaken concept of man, who is the image of God, spiritual and perfect. It became clear to her that she could prove man's God-given dominion then and there by claiming her true identity as an individual manifestation of the one and only creator, Mind. From this enlightenment came increased understanding of Christian Science. Much fear was overcome, and the troublesome physical obstruction was removed.
