I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science because it has brought main blessings into our home.

Although we came from New Hampshire we knew nothing of this Science until after we had lived in California for several years. In 1928 I was nearly blind in one eye owing to a sinus infection which our family physician and three specialists were unable to help. During this time a Christian Science practitioner moved next door. After we became acquainted I asked her many questions, and her answers opened up an entirely new field of thought to me. She lent me the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, which I read. My eyesight was soon restored.

I had been troubled by constipation as long as I could remember and had taken medicine at least once a day. This condition was corrected, and I was also healed of accompanying headaches. Our medicine, of which there were many kinds, was all thrown away, and divine Mind has ever since been our only physician.
