I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science, which has changed my whole life. All that I have and am I owe to the study and application of its teachings.

I was healed of a nervous breakdown and of a ruptured and infected appendix by the help of a Christian Science practitioner. The surgeon who had operated on me said I had one chance in a million to live. For six months I was in bed and for over a year the incision was dressed daily. When I got stronger, I was being prepared for a second operation, which the doctors said was my only chance for recovery.

At this time my niece, who is a Christian Scientist, brought a practitioner to see me, and she lovingly consented to help me. I left the hospital shortly to spend a few days with relatives who are Christian Scientist, and I did not return. I had a beautiful and permanent healing. Grateful as I am for the physical healing, I am even more grateful for the spiritual uplift I received.
