ACHIEVEMENT

When the Master wove his stories
By the Galilean shore.
Did those words pour forth unpondered
That would live forevermore.
Or in prayerful preparation
Did the careful craftsman plan,
And with patience and precision
Seek to shape his thoughts for man?

When he drew that inspiration
From the treasure house of Mind.
Did he guard against distraction
As the pattern was outlined?
Was he steadfast in his purpose.
Was discouragement denied.
Till the final form unfolded.
And he rested—satisfied?
