GAIN, NOT LOSS

As the new year approaches, mortal mind is busy with many figures; inventories are being taken, profit and loss are being calculated, books are being closed, and symbolically, as literally a new page is being turned. In simple reverence the Christian Scientist prays in the words of Mary Baker Eddy (Poems, p. 28),

"Help us to write a deathless page
Of truth, this dawning year!"
